Nicole Lavelle is an artist and graphic designer, living and working in Northern California. Her work engages people, place, paper, language and landscape.
She is a resident artist at the Prelinger Library and a freelance visual designer, for large technology corporations, as well as small arts and culture non-profits in the Bay Area.
She is attracted by analog processes and vernacular media. She believes the most compelling projects are community publications, inclusive spaces, found language, weekly routine, landscape studies, or accidental memoir.
