Candles from Garden State Candles are beautiful products, green, clean, and delicately fragranced.
All candles are handcrafted with love, in Berlin, with 100% soy derived from UK-grown soy beans, guaranteeing an environment-friendly burn, and hand poured into a lovely amber glass jar.
The candles feature a lead-free cotton wick, primed with vegetable-based wax and premium grade botanical fragrance oil and essential oils.
That’s it. No paraffine, no dyes, no parabens, no preservatives, no phthalates, no additives, no petroleum. And, of course, they are vegan and cruelty-free!
Through the purchase of a candle, you bring light into your home, but also to Animal Rescue Shelters that the brand supports, and from which Louee, this adorable face on the label, comes.

On their last journey to Berlin, Kelly and Julien felt in love with the creative mind of the big-hearted entrepreneur, Maya Sriqui. In 2017, she created Garden State Candles in her kitchen. The feedbacks were so positive that it encouraged her to open her first store and studio in Berlin.
Garden State Candles are a combination of natural and unique scents, carefully made by Maya by mixing essential and botanical oils, without any GMO nor paraben.
The brand commits to offering handcrafted and eco-friendly candles: the soy wax comes from sustainable plantations and is vegan, biodegradable, and non-toxic. Packagings are recyclable.
Louee, Maya’s dog, has inspired the brand logo. As part of its mission, Garden State Candles donates a portion of the profits to rescue shelters with every candle purchase.
